In Part 1 I have posted photos from the concerts I photographed the first half year of 2025. Here are photos from the second half year. July is usually a slow month for concerts, but there are some big festivals that I usually don’t attend. But one festival is a must every year at the ene of July. Every year a few of us concert photographers gather for Månefestivalen in the town of Fredrikstad. The festival is low key, cosy, and with a great atmosphere, and with mostly Norwegian artists. My favorite photos from the festival are of Jonas Benyoub, Vamp, Odd Nordstoga, Danko Jones, Tora Daale Aagaard and Briskeby.

Another festival that is a must for me, is the Notodden Blues Festival. I have attended it every year since 1994, except two years. This year, I saw – among others – DK Harrell, Jimmie Vaughan, Walter Trout, Lita Ford, Uriah Heep, Hellbillies, Mavis Staples and Johanna Demker.

From Notodden back to Oslo for one of the biggest events this year, AC/DC. They played a sold out Bjerke Race Field and delivered a great show.

The day after AC/DC was the first day of Øyafestivalen in Oslo. This is four day festuval that started in the 90’s and is still an important festival in Norway. Among the bands I photograohed here were Refused, Heartworm, Wet Leg, Kneecap, Queens Of The Stone Age, And Brun, Danel Romano, girl in red, Honningbarna and Arp Frique and the Perpetual Singers.

I photographed two great concerts in the last half of August: Silje Nergaard and after that Lyle Lovett with two of my favorite musicians in his band, Lee Sklar and Russ Kunkel.

Blues in Hell outside of Trondheim is usually my last festival every year, and so also in 2025. This year the new Norwegian artist Adama Janlo, the Norwegian and European “super band” Blues Against The Machine and the Swedish youngsters, Blue Benders were among the highlights for me.

The week after Blues in Hell I went back to Trondheim for the definitive last concerts from Åge Aleksandersen and Sambandet. He played three sold out stadion concerts at Lerkendal Stadion, and I attended the first of them.

In mid September I usually go to Spain for 5-6 weeks of extended summer. During my stay tey have the feria in Nerja, and this year I saw the Spanish artist Maria Pelae plus a flamenco event with Belén Heredía and her students.

My last concerts of 2025 were a mix of different genres at different venues. Eivor at Sentrum Scene, Todd Rundgren at Cosmopolite, Zara Larsson at Unity Arena, Kraftwerk at Sentrum Scene, Cradle of Filth at Rockefeller and lastly Sabaton at Unity Arena.
