Norwegian Grammy Winners 2012

Kaizers Orchestra © Per Ole HagenI want to congratulate all the winners of the Norwegian Grammy (Spellemannprisen) for 2012. Kaizers Orchestra were the winner of the highest hanging prize, the trophy that goes to one artist for exceptional qualities during the year, the “Spellemann of the year”. They also won the prize for the best Video. Here are pictures of some of the winners this year.

Karpe Diem © Per Ole HagenThe price for Pop was won by Karpe Diem. They recently played SXSW and also did an acoustic gig at Leeann Atherton’s Barndance.

Ida Jenshus © Per Ole HagenIda Jenshus won her 3rd prize in the country category, which means she has one a prize for all her three CDs.

LidoLido © Per Ole HagenLidoLido won the prize for this year’s Newcomer.

Tommy Tokyo © Per Ole HagenThe price for Rock went to Tommy Tokyo.

Nekromantheon © Per Ole HagenNekromantheon won the prize for Metal.
