Nick Cave has managed to become more successful the older he gets. And he doesn’t really do much to maximize his success, with his morbid lyrics and sometimes quite unaccessible songs. But his show is always worth seeing, with high energy and great style. Tonight he played Bergen Fest, and tomorrow he plays Norwegian Wood in Oslo. They have something to look forward to in Oslo!

We were only allowed to photograph the first song, and then from  the extreme side of the stage. For some reason, Nick Cave doesn’t like photographers, even if – from a photographer’s viewpoint, he is visually one of the more exciting rock artists. But it is his prerogative to decide if he wants to be photographed or not, so that’s it. Here are the best pictures from the first song of his concert at Bergen Fest.
