Saturday March 3rd, Katzenjammer played a sold out Rockefeller Music Hall in Oslo, Norway. The all girl band is winning their audience wherever they play, and Rockefeller was no exception.
I have been following Katzenjammer since their first appearance at by:Larm in OSlo some years ago, seeing them at least once a year. I was impressed with their charm and their fantastic energy the first time I saw them. Also by their multi-instrumentalist approach, each of them playing 3-5 instruments and changing constantly between themselves.
Over the years they have become really good on their different instruments, their singing – specially their harmony singing – is excellent, and they are all great solo singers. All this combined with a handful of good songs, the same enthusiasm, charm and energy on stage as in their early stages, and you have a winning concert package. They have also bulit a lojal following in many countries in Europe.
I have photographed Katzenjammer in different settings. Here are some of the photos from the concert at Rockefeller in Oslo. If you want to see more of Katzenjammer, you can check out my photo site, Artist Pictures.
