by:Larm is the yearly showcase festival and seminar in Oslo, Norway. Many bands play, and delegates gather to attend seminars and to find the next new big band. This year there were many very interesting band, and El Doom & the Born Electric is one of them.

The members of El Doom & the Born Electric all play in different other bands, and they have been playing for many years. The leader, Ole Petter El Doom Andreassen is the guitarist in the Norwegian “Death ‘n’ Roll” band The Cumshots together with Kristopher Schau. The other members play in bands like El Cuero and Hedvig Mollestad trio.

El Doom & The Born Electric’s stage show is hard, and at the same time dynamic and most of all energic. Their songs are good, mostly from their self titled CD. The Norwegian newspaper gave the concert a 5 out of 6, and the audience at the concert obviously agreed. This summer you can see them at different festivals, among them at the Øya Festival in Oslo in August.
