In May last year I saw Satyricon play one song with the Norwegian Opera Choir. It seemed like both parties were satisfied with the result, and tonight Satyricon held a full concert at the national Opera House together with the Opera Choir.
Mayhem was formed in 1984 and is the longest living Norwegian black metal band. They have had their problems during the years but are considered to be the pioneers of Norwegian black metal. In February this year they were the closing act of the Norwegian showcase festival by:Larm.
Friday March 30th my exhibition, Norwegian Metal – In Concert opened at Galleri MAP in Oslo. Here are some pictures from the opening. All pictures are courtesy of Aleksander Dye and the Inferno Festival. The exhibition is open until April 22nd.
