I have liked Hedvig Mollestad Trio since the first time I saw them. This year they play several gigs at SXSW, and I got to see a off-festival gig at Leeann’s Traveling Barn Dance at Maria’s Taco XPress yesterday. Their music is hard and loud guitar-based jazz rock, and they showed us how the experts do it.

Hedvig Mollestad Trio have still more gigs to go before they end up at Leeann Atherton’s Full Moon Barn Dance on Sunday. I will certainly get back to that on this blog. And I expect more of the delegates and also the Austinites to get their eyes and ears opened for the great talent that these three musicians have.
