The Pstereo festival is one of my favorite festivals, held in Trondheim in the second half of August, usually the week after the Øya festival. Both festival have some commonalities in that they have both eclectic bookings. At Pstereo this means that you have pop, electronica, Americana, metal and hip hop on the same stage. Here are photos of the artists at Pstereo 2015. (Picture above: Yelawolf)
The Pstereo festival is located below the Nidarosdomen cathedral, close to the river in Trondheim, an idyllic grass area in the middle of Trondheim. The only problem with this location, is that it is limiting how many people can be there. But at the same time this means that the crowd is manageable, making the festival both big enough and also intimate.
The Audience to Band of Horses
Trondheim is a city with quite varied and unstable weather. But last weekend was the warmest weekend in all of 2015. So far the festival has been held over two days, but from next year it will be expanded to three. The festival was sold out two weeks in advance this year, and three days seems like the natural way to extend it.
The headliner Friday was Susanne Sundfør. On Saturday Band of Horses was the headliner. Here are first the Friday, then the Saturday artists.
