Ida Jenshus at the Steinkjer Festival

Ida Jenshus © Per Ole HagenI have written about Ida Jenshus before, so this will not be a word-heavy blog. She played the Steinkjer Festival last weekend, as the first act on the Saturday. The interesting thing is that Ida comes from Steinkjer, and with her success the last few years, one would expect the locals to come running to see her.

The Steinkjer Festival 2013 Is Coming Up

Ida Jenshus © Per Ole HagenOn Thursday this year’s Steinkjer Festival starts again with a night of local artists, before Friday comes with twelve concerts, and Saturday with eighteen including the day program.  This will be my fifth festival in Steinkjer, and I am sure it will be just as good as the other ones. Steinkjerfestivalen 2011 looking back

Next weekend Steinkjerfestivalen (The Steinkjer Festival) is arranged in the mid-Norway city of Steinkjer. This year they have Behemoth, Kaizers Orchestra, Susanne Sundfør and D.D.E. as some of the headliners, plus some really interestiong other bands like El Doom and The Born Electric, The South, Hedvig Mollestad Trio and Mongo Ninja.
