The second day of the Øya Festival was sunny, although it became quite chilly when the sun went down. The headliners this day was PJ Harvey who I saw, and Jamie XX, who played at the same time on two stages. Tomorrow the festival Norwegian Wood in Oslo starts, going on for four days. The headliners are Bryan Ferry, Tom Pety, Kaizers Orchestra and Sting. Other artists are Lenny Krawitz, Laleh, Lars Winnerbäck, James Morrison and The Gaslight Anthem. I will post pictures from the festival during the next days. Mastodon and Gojira are playing support for Metallica on their Black Album tour. Wednesday this week they played for 40.000 people in Oslo, Norway. Here are some pictures of the two great bands from when they played the Norwegian Wood festival in Oslo last summer.
